WHY THESE “COEXIST” BUMPER STICKERS ARE BULLSHIT:
The central tenets of †, ✡ and ☪ are mutually exclusive and as long as these mutually exclusive tenets each claim to be the ONLY truth, there can be no real hope of advancing toward ☮. †, ✡ and ☪ would more likely than not spurn the humanist and non-supernatural ☯, and have been used as a weapon against ✫. Everyone knows how paganism has been treated by Christianity in the past. Even today, there are places where people are burned alive as witches because superstitious people believe “thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” There is no reason to believe that these mutually exclusive ideas can or should be able to “coexist.” And finally, ♂ and ♀ reinforce a false, exclusionary and dangerous gender binary which, on its own, is enough to make me, a genderqueer individual, want to vomit blood. If you have one of these ridiculous bumper stickers on your car and think that you are being so tolerant and cultured and worldly by displaying it, I encourage you to think critically and get rid of it. Or better yet, just set your shitty SUV on fire.

OR maybe you’re just a negative thinker and can’t see that the whole meaning of the stickers are to over come such differences and move on toward peace and equality. let the past be the past. and as for the ♀ and ♂ perhaps theres a reason that they’re on the same letter- making it so they can flow together rather than being forced to be seperate and different.
